During their studies, students have the opportunity to relax and actively participate in events organized by the university for students. They go in for sports or participate in clubs that are engaged in scientific activities, popularization of science, and artistic creativity. Our students are also actively involved in student government. The Trade Union Student Committee helps students in solving various issues related to their studies and social life.

- Sports clubs
Sports clubs of various directions allow us not only to maintain good physical shape of our students. Teams of students and teachers of our sports sections constantly take part in sports events in the city and Ukraine.
- Scientific clubs
Scientific clubs are part of the students’ research work and, unlike academic research, provide a greater opportunity to choose a topic. Practical topics of the clubs provide opportunities to develop skills of working in a team of small projects, mastering methods of solving practical problems.
- Student self-government
The student self-government body of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics is the Student Senate of NURE. The activity of student self-government is defined by Article 40 of the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education”.
Student self-government is the right and opportunity of students to solve issues of education and life, protection of the rights and interests of students, as well as to participate in the management of a higher education institution (clause 1, article 40).
If you want to improve your management skills, have an active student position and care about the interests of your fellow students, then contact the representatives of the Student Senate of the School and join the most active students of the university.
- Trade union committee
After entering Kharkiv National University, every student can count on the Primary Trade Union Organization of NURE Students (PTUO NURE). The PTUO of NURE is a voluntary non-profit public organization of students and postgraduates of the university, which aims to represent and protect the educational, social and economic rights and interests of members of the Trade Union of Education and Science of Ukraine. It is our Union that can confidently offer support and protection to university students. To do this, we have the rights, experience and powerful power of solidarity.
In the interests of the members of the trade union, work is carried out in the following areas:
- material assistance;
- social protection;
- organization of rest, leisure and health improvement of students;
- organization of practice in Poland for NURE students;
- legal protection;
- registration of preferential travel in underground transport;
- control of the work of the university catering enterprise;
- training of trade unionists;
- support of student initiatives;
- issuance of the international student card ISIC;
- solving everyday problems of students in dormitories.
