Scientific work of students
One of the activities of the Department of INE is the organization and conduct of research work of students (NIRS). This form of interaction between students and teachers provides an opportunity to deepen and expand the basic knowledge of the selected educational program, in addition, in the process of work students acquire the necessary skills in the analysis, management and forecasting, creation and transformation of processes, systems, objects used in existing or created new info-communication, network systems or technologies. The results of students’ work are mainly presented at open seminars, student scientific forums and conferences. Such works can also be presented at contests and scientific exhibitions dedicated to vocational guidance, educational work and scientific and technical events in this field. More in detail.
Scientific activity of students
Our students constantly take part in the International youth forum “Radio electronics and youth in XXI century”, act on the All-Ukrainian Olympiads in a direction of an information network and telecommunications, take part in competitions and trainings from the IT-companies, in particular are constant participants of projects from companies EPAM, Lifecell (the project “Jump into life”), Vodafone (the project “Professionals of the future”), Ukrtelecom (the project “The best from Ukrtelecom”), etc. Read more.
Student clubs
In addition to teaching and research, our students enjoy playing sports or taking part in student life. They are actively involved in or participate in various events and competitions offered by the student club and the University Student Senate. Dance and vocal competitions, the annual competition “Miss and Mr. HNURE”, the annual zip-QUEST – the main student activities outside of school, supports the university management. More information.
Sports
Sports clubs of various directions allow not only to maintain good physical shape of our students. Teams of students and teachers of our sports sections constantly take part in sports events in the city and Ukraine. More in detail.
Employment
The department management pays a lot of attention not only to the education and development of students. One of the main tasks of the major department is the employment of future graduates. Educational programs necessarily include blocks of selected components aimed at studying modern disciplines, which provide practical skills and abilities for future professionals. During their studies, students undergo various practices and internships in IT companies and in the telecommunications industry. Read more.

Our graduates work in Ukrainian and foreign large and small IT-companies, business structures, banks, public sector and municipal enterprises, mobile, fixed-line, cable, IP- and digital television operators, IP-telephony, Internet service providers. Read more.
