Education of postgraduate students of IMI within the framework of the Erasmus + mobility program at the Czech University of Pardubice

Starting from October 2015, within the framework of the international academic mobility program Erasmus + (KA107 International Credit Mobility) under an agreement between the Czech University of Pardubice and the Kharkov National University of Radioelectronics, students of the Department of Information and Network Engineering regularly study at the Czech University.

In 2020, within the framework of the international program of academic mobility Erasmus + (KA107 International Credit Mobility) was extended until 2024. The international program provides an opportunity for students to study at foreign universities, receiving higher education and a double diploma from the universities participating in the program, and an opportunity for teachers to improve their own skills or, according to the program, to conduct a series of lectures or practical classes within the disciplines of selected educational programs.
Back in 2019, our students of the IMIм-19-2 group Andrey Ponomarev and Dmitry Kotov took part in the Erasmus+ academic mobility program for the first time. In the future, they continued their studies, and in the fall of 2021 they again became students of the Czech University in Pardubice, studying disciplines at the master’s level of education. In November 2021, they successfully passed the postgraduate exams and are now studying at the third level of education, which, in case of successful completion of the academic plan and timely and successful defense of the dissertation, obtaining the title of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of telecommunications and radio engineering in Ukraine is equal to the title candidate of technical sciences in the same field. When studying in graduate school, they must conduct scientific academic research on a chosen topic, and the results of this research must be published in international peer-reviewed publications. Presentation of research achievements and substantiation of the significance of the results obtained in front of a circle of well-known scientific experts in the chosen field is the final stage of postgraduate studies and recognition of candidates as valid doctors of philosophy in the chosen field, that is, confirmation of their knowledge and the results of scientific research. It should be noted that each of the students has two supervisors of scientific work – at the University of Pardubice and KNURE.

In conclusion, we add that students can take part in the international academic mobility program Erasmus + (KA107 International Credit Mobility) already from the 3rd-4th year, subject to successful study and knowledge of a foreign language of the appropriate level. But for the most part, purposefulness and personal desire to study and get a good education in the chosen specialty is the primary motive for students to participate in this program and, most importantly, the most successful motive.
